PIQUET FINISH

The Stanhope is built using a complex multi-layer dial design, with a piquet textured off-white sandwiched central plate punched in for the sub-dial and around the edge at 12 hour markings. The raised polished steel numerals at 12, 3 and 9 and hour batons sit on the textured plate, infilled with midnight blue. The outer baton tips are finished in powder blue for edge contrast. The outer base layer is flooded in midnight blue with a fine stylised minute track in powder blue and scarlet red. Raised wedge markers on the hour indexes are finished in Super-LumiNova raised dots to add a further dimension.

INSET RING

The Lansdell is defined by the ring of British racing green, finished in a fine grooved texture seen when the dial catches the light and split by hour/minute baton markers in Super-LumiNova. The detailed design continues across the central dial with a silver steel Guilloché detail emanating from the central point. The outer track is made up of scarlet red minute markers, five minute numerals linking to the very outer powder blue blocks all sat on the spun silver steel main dial.

LIGHT CHANGING

The Hudson's sunray sea-blue triple stepped dial, that changes with the light, from day to night. Sitting on top of the dial are baton Super-LumiNova mint hour markers outlined at 45 degrees in pure white. The outer track curves down away from the main dial with a patterned track and signal red markers to draw your eye to the very edge of the dial.

CUSHION CASE

The 37mm diameter case is created around a highly polished and slim cushion case design, with an extremely thin facing edge to allow for the widest possible dial aperture and an overall watch that feels larger on the wrist. At only 8.3mm height, the refined case design results in a beautifully slim profile on the wrist.

DOUBLE DOMED

The design features a double domed anti-reflective sapphire crystal, as well as delivering high impact strength it shows less optical distortion across the dial, with clarity of the dial details showing from edge to edge.

STEEL CROWN

A first for Farer, the onion crown is in solid stainless steel to avoid black fingers that bronze may give if daily wound. A subtle reference towards the Farer DNA has been kept with a machined bronze inset cap. The finished look is smooth, combined with great functionality - making it easy to set, wind and adjust timing.
