It seemed fitting to celebrate the launch of our Mechanical Chronograph Collection by taking the short flight to New York, where we have built a loyal and exceptionally knowledgeable fan base. We organised the event in partnership with our friends at Worn & Wound and RedBar Crew, providing us with some much needed local logistics and a great turn out on the evening.

In the midst of an unseasonal heatwave, the air-conditioned event space overlooking Bryant Park offered a welcome relief and allowed epic views of the Empire State Building from our 24th floor vantage point. As evening fell and the humidity was broken by a typical British downpour, we opened the doors to a host of New Yorkers - from customers to self-confessed watch addicts - and we spent the evening meeting new faces, catching up with old friends and enjoying the chance to talk about watches.
For many, it was their first opportunity to view our whole range in person, giving them the chance to try on all their desired Farer favourites. Bringing horologist enthusiasts together in conjunction with our partners for the event was a fantastic moment for the whole Farer team.

The Mechanical Chronograph launch was of great significance, as it’s by far our most sophisticated complication, paired with daring colours. Therefore we couldn’t be more thankful for the incredible reception the watches received from all who attended, as well as the continued support from both Blake and Zach, founders of Worn and Wound.
As with every visit to our beloved New York, we revel in the fact that once again we can discover new areas, places and things to do in the city that never sleeps, with this trip, of course, being no exception. We will be returning in early November, where the charm and life of the city will no doubt further inspire us for our launches to come.
